About Us

Peacockes Technology is based in Hamilton New Zealand and is owned and operated by Scott Fleming and Victoria Rowe. 

Scott holds a National Certificate in Computing and CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ qualifications.  These are in addition to having a Trade Certificate in Boiler Making and Welding.  These combined qualifications gives Scott a unique insight in to the industries that Peacockes Technology’s client’s work in.  Scott understands the language used in small business industries and can relate on a personal level to the client’s needs.  Scott’s interest is in Sales and Marketing and Server Management.  Scott is proficient in IBM, HP Server hardware, SharePoint Services, Windows Server and associated systems such as email, data base servers, and networking systems.

Victoria holds a Bachelor degree in Psychology and a Post Graduate Diploma in Rehabilitation.  Victoria has a particular interest in Design and development.  She has become proficient in using Microsoft technologies such as Visual Studio, SQL Server and the Expression Studio suite of products. Recently Victoria has extended her knowledge by adding Adobe Dreamweaver to her set of skills.   Victoria is also experienced in video creation, editing and publishing the finished product to websites.

In 2004 Scott and Victoria decided to embark on a business which was primarily website hosting.  This has expanded to include both design and marketing.  Peacockes Technology currently prefers working on the Microsoft platform using Microsoft Technologies.

Peacockes Technology is currently positioning  itself as a search and directory service for small business in the Waikato Region by providing free of charge a private search listing and full page directory listing to all of its Waikato Region web hosting customers.

Peacockes Technology prides itself in providing privacy with its email services and cater for both conventional and mobile email.

Peacockes Technology is a registered domain name reseller with Enom in the U.S.A and are resellers for New Zealand Domain name registrars.

Peacockes Technology has a network of approximately 10 servers located in Hamilton New Zealand running server 2003, server 2008 and storage server 2003 for back-ups, as well as a storage area network (SAN). 

Peacockes Technology run Xeon servers, ultra 320 SCSI drives and serial attached SCSI (SAS), gigabit Ethernet and both 32bit and 64bit operating systems.

Back-ups consist of NAS servers and tape mechanisms as well as a storage area network. The tapes are stored in media safes and for added security are then stored in a combination safe. The entire network infrastructure is under electronic surveillance and is Air Conditioned. Peacockes Technology run a sufficient number of uninterrupted power supplies to ensure a continuous stable service.

Peacockes Technology has a 900mhz fixed 802.1x wireless connection with redundancy. The connection is an all weather non line of sight fixed wireless link.

Peacockes Technology are well provided for with blocks of ipv4 static ips for ourselves and dedicated server customers.
